With decades of experience in the media sector, Michael DuPont has a proven track record of exceeding sales targets by creating and executing unique sales tactics. While simultaneously tackling various market circumstances throughout his impressive career, Michael finds the time for mentoring, recruiting, and motivating up-and-and-coming sales professionals. Based on his customers’ KPIs, it is clear that Michael is able to tailor his clients’ solutions to their specific needs. A member of Mensa, Michael attended George Washington University, where he received his BBA in Marketing and Advertising. He continued on to earn his MBA in International Business and Marketing from the NYU Stern School of Business. Advertising has been the focus of Michael DuPont’s professional career. Michael served as a go-between for customers and the creative team at Viacom – MTV Networks as an Account Executive in Advertising Sales. New York and Los Angeles were Michael’s primary markets, with five networks in each city. Sponsorship integrations for marquee events like MTV Spring Break and the MTV Video Music Awards were handled by Michael while working as the point person for producers and showrunners. Michael and his team achieved the highest shares and prices in the industry during his tenure.

Ad Sales Vice President Michael oversaw AOL’s Los Angeles-based digital sales team and collaborated with AOL’s business development team to negotiate agreements on all AOL properties. When he worked as Oxygen Media’s Vice President of Advertising Sales, his team was responsible for developing a national sales strategy across linear and digital channels. Michael DuPont and his crew were known for consistently exceeding revenue objectives.

While serving as the Executive Vice President for Advertising Sales at ViacomCBS’ Pop TV,  Michael cultivated the sales department and led the network’s re-branding. Michael also oversaw the direct response and direct-to-consumer advertising teams across America. During his time with the company, Michael DuPont mastered the ins and outs of cross-platform sponsorship negotiations (linear, digital, and experiential).

Michael is a proud LGBTQ member and works tirelessly to promote diversity in all aspects of his life, both professionally and personally. Additionally, Michael is a dedicated philanthropist who has lent his support to several worthwhile projects. His favorite charities are the New York City Food Bank, the Animal Rescue Foundation, and the Cycle for Survival, which raises money for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center via cycling.
